Hey Baz I attempted this a while back but was unsuccessful due to the fact I was having pc prob and it would not work.
You mentioned me in one of your posts back in Summuer 2007. I ran into you on Stewart Beach one day.
There was a couple of guys besides you and I swinging the coil that day, but I had the older White's detector and was from Austin.
Just thought I would drop in and say hi and tell you I have been lurking the site for a while now and I think the updates have made a very good site even better.
I was thinking of joining the forum but have not swung the coil in about a year so not really mush to write about!
If I am ever down your way for any amount of time I will try and do some dirt fishing with you. Take care! Lorne

Great job on the site, Tim! I have a metal detector that I haven't used in years. You may have just inspired me to get it out of the closet. :)
Baz:
Thanks Mike...err, I mean coach! :)

Just stopped in to say Aloha and and keep swinging. Mostly beach hunting over here. Just moved in to the Valleys and Mountainsides this month. Already been warned about MDing in certain location because of the Hawaiian Culture. Started backing away some because I do not want to step on any toes. Next thing you know there be passing more laws about Mding.
Take care and enjoy your time.
Aloha from Hawaii!!

Don't like Mosquitoes when detecting? Let a Bounce sheet hang out in the back under your hat looks funny BUT NO MOSQUITOES.
Also Skin so soft Bug Gard for your arms and legs.
Baz:
Hi Gerald, I tried bounce but it seemed to have no affect. I think these
are military grade mosquitoes. :) No worries though - jeans, long sleeve
shirt over short sleeve, hat, mosquito net, and gloves keep them off of me
%100. I look scary trouncing through the woods to passerby's, but it's very
effective.

Hi Tim, came across your site today. Will be spending time here, new to the DFX but not new to MD. Been looking at some of your programs will load a few into Excel spread sheets.
Living in Canada and going through a very hard winter, almost record snowfall, we are several weeks away from venturing out with our machines..
Good to be here trent
Baz:
Good to have you Trent! It'll be great to have a regular from Canada too, at the moment we don't have any giving us reports from the north country! :D
Welcome aboard.

Hey Billy, glad you're taking up the hobby with your son. He'll have a chance to earn some money and you guys will be spending some quality time together. Not to mention the good finds that come along with hunting! Good luck, if you need any help with that 250, you know where to find us on the forum!

Billy:
Thanks Taz
I sent you an email to the dirtjournel address on your homepage. Hopefully it's some useful info.

Baz:
Thanks for the post LR! Thanks for the tip too, I'll have to check that out. We have a really low tide next weekend, might be a good opportunity to try out a new spot. Thanks again!

Hi,
My name is Matt and I work in the Memorial Park area. I just got back from taking a quick run through the park with my Bounty Hunter (yeah I know, I had a White's and it got stolen.) So I'm hoping perhaps to go hunting with you guys sometime. If interested, please drop me a line.
Matt
Baz:
Thanks Matt, email sent! And I wouldn't bash a bounty hunter, they're built much better than they used to be and they're quite capable of making just as good finds as anything.

Hey Bazooka,
Just passing by and wanted to say I dropped in. I appreciate the help you gave me on the DFX settings. I'll be trying them soon.
Baz:
Thanks Karl!
Let me know what you think about the program. If you have any questions at all, you know where to find me. Many of the guys on the forum here also own DFX's so there is a wealth of info at your disposal. GL

Baz:
Hey PT! No problem with time...just glad to see you here. Nice dime! If it had gotten entered the same month you found it, it woulda been a contender for sure. Hope to see you on the forum!
